🥍 This August, Hong Kong is fired up with the 2024 World Lacrosse Women's U20 Championship (WLWU20C)!
Hong Kong has become Asia's first city to host the highest-level junior tournament organised by World Lacrosse. A total of 64 thrilling matches will be held between 20 top teams, including home team Hong Kong (Asia no. 2), reigning champion United States, and Canada.
As we've talked about it, Lacrosse Sixes will make its debut in the LA 2028. It'll be lacrosse's third appearance as an official sport since 1904, making the WLWU20C the best opportunity to witness the rising of future Olympics stars. Tickets of 1-Day Pass and 10-Day Pass are available for sale now, with the option of a Premium Pass that gives your a closer view of game, as well as a 20% off discount for full-time students, children aged 3-17, the disabled, and seniors aged 60 or above. Each adult ticket holder can bring FREE two children aged below 3.
The tournament will be held across 4 venues, with opening, semi-finals and finals at the local favourite venue Mong Kok Stadium, as well as other matches at Sham Shui Po Sports Ground, Kowloon Tsai Sports Ground and Shek Kip Mei Park for ultimate convenience for citizens from different districts; the Team Hong Kong will pull off the evening show on the kick-off day against Jamaica at that.
An "M" Mark Hong Kong-exclusive event, the WLWU20C also features a number of preheat activities to connect lacrosse with the general public, such as a roadshow on 13 & 14 July at THE FOREST in Mong Kok, and an exhibition x lacrosse trial experience on 10 & 11 August at the TST Hong Kong Cultural Centre.
