TORCH RELAY CLOSING CEREMONY
BACKGROUND
The 15th National Games Torch Relay Closing Ceremony marked the culmination of a landmark cross-city relay across Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hong Kong, and Macao, with 50 torchbearers in each city passing on the flame. In Hong Kong, the torch journey began at Tamar Government Headquarters, travelled via Golden Bauhinia Square, crossed Victoria Harbour on the Star Ferry and concluded at Kai Tak Sports Park. The route showcased Hong Kong’s vibrancy, heritage, and sporting spirit while uniting the community in a moment of national pride.
