Hong Kong Masters 2017 is one of the major celebrating events of the 20th anniversary of HK. Being the first snooker event in Hong Kong to be sanctioned by WSL, the event featured 9 world's top ranked players and 2 local heroes in a 4-day live-broadcasting tournament. The organiser HKBSCC aimed to promote billiard sports and its entertainment through the event.
